Privacy Policy

Plain English about what we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We try not to need much from you, and we don't share or sell what we do collect.

Who runs this site

Eternix Technologies ("we", "us", "our") is a software studio operating out of India and delivering globally. We are the data controller for any personal information you give us through this website.

Privacy contact: eternixtechnologies@gmail.com.

What we collect

There are exactly two paths through which we receive any data from you:

1. The contact form

When you submit a brief through any form on this site (home, contact, story), we receive:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Company (optional)
  • Practice area you selected
  • Project brief you wrote
  • The page URL you submitted from, and the time of submission

Submissions are delivered as email to our team via Web3Forms, our form-handling provider. Web3Forms acts as a processor; they do not use your data for anything other than delivering it to us.

2. Anonymous site analytics

We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used:

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless. Collects aggregated metrics like pageviews, country, browser, and Core Web Vitals. It does not track you across sites and does not assign you a persistent ID. See Cloudflare's policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity — uses cookies to record session behavior (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling) so we can see where the site can be improved. Clarity only loads if you accept cookies via our consent banner. Clarity automatically masks personally identifiable text and form input by default. See Microsoft's privacy statement and our Cookie Policy.

What we do NOT collect

  • We don't have user accounts on this site, so there are no passwords or sign-up data.
  • We don't run advertising, retargeting pixels, or social-media tracking.
  • We don't sell, rent, or share data with third parties for marketing.
  • We don't process payments on this site.

Why we process this data (legal basis)

  • Form submissions — to respond to your inquiry. Legal basis: contract / pre-contract steps under GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), and legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) for legitimate business communication. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, this is processing for a specified purpose (responding to your request).
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — to understand traffic and performance. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Because it is cookieless and aggregated, in most jurisdictions it does not require consent.
  • Microsoft Clarity — to improve the site experience. Legal basis: your consent, which you give (or refuse) through the cookie banner.

How long we keep it

  • Form submissions — retained in our email and CRM for as long as we have a business relationship, then archived. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — retained per Cloudflare's defaults (typically up to 6 months for visit-level data).
  • Microsoft Clarity — session recordings retained for up to 1 year per Microsoft's defaults.

Where the data goes

Personal data flows through these processors:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — site hosting (Cloudflare Pages) and Web Analytics. Cloudflare is GDPR-compliant and offers Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
  • Web3Forms — form submission delivery to our email.
  • Microsoft Corporation (United States) — Clarity session analytics. Microsoft is GDPR-compliant and uses Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than the ones listed above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the following rights over your personal data. We honor these rights regardless of jurisdiction:

  • Access — ask what data we hold about you.
  • Correction — fix anything that's wrong.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Portability — get a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Restriction — ask us to pause processing.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdraw consent — change your cookie choice anytime via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
  • Lodge a complaint — you can complain to your local data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board under the DPDP Act 2023; in the EU/UK, your national authority such as the ICO, CNIL, etc.).

To exercise any of these, email eternixtechnologies@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request". We respond within 30 days, usually within 1 business day.

Security

The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Cloudflare manages the TLS certificates and DDoS protection. We don't run our own database on this site — form data is delivered straight to email, and analytics data is held by the processors listed above. Email is accessed only by senior team members on devices with disk encryption and 2FA-protected accounts.

Children

This site is meant for business decision-makers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the form, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes (new processors, new categories of data) will be flagged on the site itself before they take effect.
